9.4 Checking the Engine Coolant Level

Checking
Perform the procedure below to check the engine coolant level.
1. Check the engine coolant level through the opening (a) in the panel. When cold,
the coolant level should be at the COLD mark on the recovery tank (b).
2. Fill the recovery tank when the engine is cold to the COLD mark on the recovery
tank.
WARNING
Personal injury hazard. Contact with moving parts and hot exhaust can cause
severe injury.
f Do not run the genset with the access covers removed.
