4.15 Pre-Starting Checks
Requirements
Machine properly positioned
Power connected to the machine
Checks
Before starting the machine, check the following items:
Fuel System
Fuel sight gauge valve
(a)
f Check that the fuel sight
gauge valve is open.
Fuel sight gauge
(b)
f Check that the fuel tank is
full.
Quick connects
(d)
f Check that the quick-con-
nect couplings are secure.
Heat Transfer Fluid (HTF) System
