allsafetydevicesontheharvesterheadandensurethey
areworkingproperly.
Modifying,moving,orremovingsafetydevicesttedtothe
equipmentcouldresultininjuryordeath.
Wherepossible,lowerallequipmenttotheground;stop
theengine.Turnoffpowertothecontrollerandisolate.
Inthecabwindow,hanga“DONOTUSE”signand,if
possible,lockthecabdoor.
Whencarryingoutserviceand/ormaintenancework,
ensurethetiltframeisintheharvestingorprocessing
position,andensurethelockingpinisinstalled.
Ifitisnecessarytoworkonaraisedboomorharvester
head,ensuretheyaresupportedandsecuredtoprevent
theboomfromlowering.Theharvesterheadlockingpin
mustbettedinthelockposition.
Workinginthe“pinch”or“saw”areaoftheharvester
headwhilethehydraulicsystemisactivecouldresult
ininjuryordeath.Alwaysturnofftheharvesterpriorto
commencingservice.
Alwaysremainonthegroundoronasafeplatformto
carryoutrepairsormaintenance.Standingonequipment
isasafetyhazard,andcouldresultininjuryordeath.
Donotstandunderasuspendedharvesterhead;doing
socouldresultininjuryordeath.
Attemptingtoalterorchangethephysical,mechanical,
orhydraulicoperationoftheharvesterheadduringthe
warrantyperiod,withoutrstconsultingWaratah,willvoid
thecarrierwarranty.
Becauseofthesizeofsomeproductcomponents,always
useproperliftingprocedureswhenremovinganyitems.
Ensuretheharvesterheadadjustmentsarecorrectand
thedelimbarmsandsawchainaresharp.Takeextreme
