extendbeyondtheworkarea.
Hazardousfumescanbegeneratedwhenpaintisheated
bywelding,soldering,orwhenusingatorch.
Removepaintproperly.Donotinhalepaintdustorfumes.

Removepaintaminimumof100mm(4”)fromthearea
affectedbyheating.Ifpaintcannotberemoved,usean
approvedrespiratorbeforeheatingand/orwelding.
•
Ifyousandorgrindpaint,avoidbreathingthedust;
wearanapprovedrespirator.
•
Ifyouusesolventorpaintstripper,removethestripper
withsoapandwaterbeforewelding.Removesolventor
paintstrippercontainersandotherammablematerial
fromthearea.Allowfumestodisperseatleast15
minutesbeforeweldingorheating.
Donotuseachlorinatedsolventinareaswherewelding
willtakeplace.
Disposeofpaintandsolventproperly.
Useaqualiedweldingtechnicianforstructuralrepairs.
Ensurethereisgoodventilation,andweareyeprotection
andotherprotectiveequipmentwhenwelding.

Keeptheweldergroundclampasclosetothewelded
areaaspossibletopreventweldingcurrenttravelling
throughtheelectricalsystem.
AvoidHigh-pressureFluids
Thismachineusesahigh-pressurehydraulicsystem.
Escapingoilunderpressurecanpenetratetheskin,
resultinginseriousinjury.
Neversearchforleakswithyourhands:useapiece
ofcardboardtondthelocationofescapingoil.Stopthe
engineandrelievepressurebeforedisconnectinglinesor
workingonthehydraulicsystem.
Avoidthehazardbyrelievingpressurebefore
disconnectinghydraulicorotherlines.Tightenall
connectionsbeforeapplyingpressure.
Ifhydraulicoilpenetratesyourskin,seeadoctor
immediately.Injectedoilmustberemovedsurgically
withinhoursorgangrenemayresult.
