Whilethetreeisfalling,feedrollerscanbeactivated,
whichallowsthetreetopassthroughtheharvesterhead
anddelimbunit.Oncethefeedrollersareactivated,the
delimbarmswillautomaticallygointosoftclampmode,
allowingthetreetopassthroughtheharvesterhead.
Ensuretheharvesterheadiskepttoaminimumheightin
thisoperationtoreducetheimpactofthefallingtreeon
theharvesterhead.Toimprovedelimbingperformance,
rotateintothefeeddirection.
Duetovariationsintreeweight,anoperatormustbeaware
ofthemanufacturers’specicationsinregardtotheability
ofthecarriertosafelyhandlethetreebeingprocessed.
