Usingboosterbatteries
Boosterbatteriesareusedifthecarrierbatteriesaretoo
atorcoldtostartthecarriernormally.
CAUTION:Beforeboost-startingthecarrier,shut
itdownproperlytopreventunexpectedmachine
movementwhentheenginestarts.
CAUTION:Anexplosivegasisproducedwhile
batteriesareinuseorbeingcharged.Keep
amesorsparksawayfromthebatteryarea.
Makesurethatthebatteriesarecharged
inawell-ventilatedarea.
IMPORTANT:Alwaysdisconnectthecontrollerbefore
usingboosterbatteries,otherwisesevere
controllerdamagecouldoccur.
1.Turnoffthecarriermainswitchanddisconnectthe
cablebetweenthetwocarrierbatteries(A).
2.DisconnectthepowerandCANconnectionfromthe
PC.
3.Removethe15Apowerfusefromthecontroller
batterycable.
4.Connectoneendofthepositivecabletothepositive
terminalofthemachinebatteries(A),andtheother
endtothepositiveterminaloftheboosterbatteries(B).
5.Connectoneendofthenegativecabletothenegative
terminaloftheboosterbatteries.Connecttheother
endofthenegativecabletothemachineframe,asfar
awayfromthemachinebatteriesaspossible.

6.Starttheengine.
7.Waitseveralminutesbeforedisconnectingtheend
ofthenegativecablefromthemachineframe.Then,
disconnecttheotherendofthenegativecablefrom
thenegativeterminaloftheboosterbatteries.
8.Disconnectthepositivecablefromthebooster
batteriesandmachinebatteries.
9.Re-connectthecablebetweenthetwocarrierbatteries
(A).
10.Retthe15Afuse.ConnectthepowerandCAN
connectionbacktothePC.
