stumpsorotherobjects.
5.Strictlyadheretoallworksiteregulationstoensure
safeoperationofthisequipment.
AvoidWorkSiteHazards
Avoidcontactwithgaslines,buriedcables,andwater
lines.Beforestartingwork,contactutilitylinelocation
servicestoidentifyallundergroundutilities.
Preparetheworksiteproperly.Avoidoperatingnear
structuresorobjectsthatcouldfallontothemachine.Clear
awaydebristhatcouldmoveunexpectedlyifrunover.
Avoidhoist(boom)orattachmentcontactwith
overheadobstaclesoroverheadelectricallines.
Nevermovethemachinecloserthan3metres(10feet)
plustwicethelineinsulatorlengthtooverheadwires.
Keepbystandersclearatalltimes.Usebarricadesor
asignalpersontokeepvehiclesandpedestriansaway.
Useasignalpersonifmovingthemachineincongested
areas,orwherevisibilityisrestricted.Alwayskeepthe
signalpersoninviewanduseradiosorhandsignalsto
maintaincommunications.
Operateonlyonsolidfootingwithsufcientstrengthto
supportthemachine.Beespeciallyalertworkingnear
embankmentsorexcavations.
Avoidworkingunderover-hangingembankmentsor
stockpilesthatcouldcollapseunderoronthemachine.
Reducethemachinespeedwhenoperatingwithtools
onornearthegroundwhenobstaclesmaybehidden
(forexample,duringsnowremovalorclearingmud).At
highspeeds,hittingobstacles(rocks,unevenconcrete,
ormanholes)cancauseasuddenstop:alwayswear
asafetybelt.
