ofmovementinfourdirections.Alteringthebalancecan
causetheharvesterheadtomoveunpredictably.
Theknifeedgesandsawchainarerazor-sharp.Grabbing
holdofthemorhandlingthemwithoutprotectivegloves,
orknockingintothemcancausepersonalinjury.Extreme
careisrequiredaroundtheupperandlowerarmstoavoid
beinginsidethe‘pinch’areas.Thehydrauliccylinders
creepandmoveunpredictablyifafaultoccurs.Servicing
theharvesterheadwiththecarrierenginerunningis
extremelyhazardous.Turningofftheharvesterengine
removesthehydraulicpowertotheheadandmakesit
safeforservicing.
