6.2.4. WERSI Chord (for Upper Manual 2)
WersiChord provides a very musical way of adding harmonies to a single voiced melody.
The additional voices produced (apart from the the “Solo Voice” and “Fingered” functions) are
determined by the chord played on the lower manual and by the WersiChord Type set in
the display.
Procedure:
Select in Upper Manual 2 (Upper 2) the required sound for your WersiChord voice and if
necessary set the octave position.
Switch the WersiChord function On/Off
- either by tapping the WersiChord button on the control panel LED lights
or
- by tapping the lamp in the display for the WERSI Chord button
the lamp now turns green.
Now set the required WersiChord Type in the display:
Press on the drop-down list box (with 2 small arrows)
a drop-down list now appears
Select the required WersiChord type by tapping it in the list
the selection now has a blue background
The selected WersiChord type appears below
By pressing and simultaniously pushing the right scroll bar, you
can go up or down through the display.
Tap the selected WersiChord type where it appears bel
ow to
close the selection list.
A list of the available WersiChord types can be found in Chapter
18.5: “List of WersiChord Types” – starting at page 119
It is often musically very interesting to hear just the additional WersiChord voices
(without the note played on the upper manual!) together with Upper Manual 1 voice. To
do this, simply switch the Upper 2 On to “Off’ LED = off
