accuracy1s)
LoggingatleasttwofrequenciesL1(1575.42MHz)andL2(1227.60MHz).
ReceivingConstellationsGPS+GLONASS(optionalforhighprecision).
Possibilitytosave/convertloggingdatatoRINEXfiles(receiverindependentexchangeformat)
withversion2.11ornewer.
Option1:UsesubscriptiontoaCORSorVRSnetwork
Inmostpartsoftheworldthereexist"ContinouslyOperatingReferenceStation(CORS)"networks.
Theyconsistofanumberoffixedlyinstalledbasestationstowhichyoucansubscribe.Theyofferweb
servicesthatletyoudownloadbasefilesandbaselocation.DownloadRINEXfilesfromthenearest
CORSbasestationinyournetwork.Thebaselocationisnormallygiveninalocalcoordinatesystem.
MakesureyouuseanexactconversionbetweenyourlocalcoordinatesandWGS84withellipsoidal
height.
Alternatively,mostofthenetworksoffera"VirtualReferenceStation(VRS)"option,thatinterpolates
thecorrectiondataofseveralnearbyCORSstationstofurtherimprovetheaccuracyofyourproject.
Option2:UseyourownRTKenabledbasestation
IfyouwanttouseyourownRTKGNSSbasestation,placeitatanopenspacewhenarrivingatthe
field.Measurethebaselocationwiththedeviceandmakesuretosavethecoordinates.Startlogging
ofthebasestationfile>10minbeforeyoutakeoffforthefirstflightandlogcontinuouslyuntilafteryour
lastlanding.Dependingonthebasestationmodel,youwilllogthefiletoaSDcardinthereceiveror
streamittoalaptopormobiledevice.TherawGNSSstaticfilesfromyourreceiver(trimble:.t00,
topcon:.tps,leica:.m00,septentrio:.sbf)needtobeconvertedtotheRINEXfileformat.
Option3:Useyourownnon-RTKbasestationandplaceitontopof
apointwithknowncoordinates
IfyouownaGNSSbasestationthatisnotRTKenabled,youneedtoprovidethebaselocation
manually.Thiscanbedonebyplacingthebasestationontopofapointwithknowncoordinates.
Makesureyouknowtheheightofthepoletocalculatethebaselocationbasedontheknown
coordinates.ThebaselocationisdefinedattheGNSSreceiverantennacenter.Arrivingonthefield,
placethebasestationontopoftheknownlocationandstartloggingbeforetakingoffforthefirst
flight.Dependingonthebasestationmodel,youwilllogtoanSDcardinthereceiverorstreamittoa
laptopormobiledevice.TherawGNSSstaticfilesfromyourreceiver(trimble:.t00,topcon:.tps,leica:
.m00,septentrio:.sbf)needtobeconvertedtoRINEXfileformat.
Option4:Useyourownnon-RTKbasestationandusethirdparty
applicationstocalculatethebaselocationinretrospect
Incaseoptions1-3arenotavailableandyouownaGNSSbasestation,youhavetheadditional
optiontocalculatethebaselocationinretrospectusingthirdpartysoftware.Forthisworkflow,place
thebasestationoncearrivingonthefield,configuretheGNSSreceiverasbasestationandstart
logging.Dependingonthebasestationmodel,youwilllogtheRINEXfiletoanSDcardinthe
receiverorstreamittoalaptopormobiledevice.Inordertogetsufficientlyaccurateresults,thestatic
