Select the [Transmission Options] tab to display the [Transmission Options] screen.

[Transmission Options] screen.

Disables the Private Polling feature.

Enables the Private Polling feature. Enter a mailbox number into [Remote Mailbox
Number].

Enter a 3-digit mailbox number using the numeric keypad.
îš„Passcode
Enter the 4-digit passcode of the remote mailbox using the numeric keypad. If a
passcode has not been set, leave this box blank.
îš„Next
Select this button after entering [Remote Mailbox Number] and [Passcode].

Select [Keyboard] to display a keyboard on the touch screen, and enter the
destination and passcode in the following format.
Format for Manual Send (DTMF Method)

Select the [On-hook (Manual Send/Receive)] button on the [Advanced Features]
screen to display a keyboard on the touch screen, and enter the destination and
passcode in the following format.
Note • Use the keyboard on the touch screen to enter symbols such as "!" and "∗". For information
on how to enter characters, refer to "Entering Text" (P.266).
• Enter a passcode only if necessary.
