4. If the document is difficult to remove, remove the feed roller assembly and remove the paper:
a. Lift the lever up to the 90 degree position, then lift the front of the assembly clear of the
bracket.
b. Move the front of the assembly slightly to the left, then lift it up about 13 mm (0.5 in.).
c. To release the assembly from the rear bracket, pull it toward the front of the printer and lift it
free.
d. Pull out the paper in the direction as illustrated.
5. To replace the feed roller assembly, reverse the procedures.
6. If the paper is jammed in the exit of the duplex automatic document feeder, pull it out as
illustrated.
7. Reload the document in the duplex automatic document feeder, then adjust the guides against
the edges of the paper.
