3.6 Local Communications Cable Connections
The local communications connector (CN41A/CN41B) connections from the multi-winding drive unit are explained
below.
Use the special cable for local communications.
Connections between the multi-winding drive unit and SERVOPACK are 1:1, so two communications ports are provided
on the multi-winding drive unit.
Note 1. Attach a terminator to the CN6B connector on the SERVOPACK.
2. The CN41A/CN41B connectors are the same connectors as the CN9A/CN9B connectors for MECHATROLINK-
II communications.
Make sure you connect them correctly.
3. The maximum length of a local communications cable is 3 m.
