Saving and Loading Data
Explanation
• Storage Medium Information
Lists the information about the selected storage medium.
• Media Name: Storage medium name.
• Media Size: Total size.
• Used Space: Size of the used area.
• Vacant Space: Size of the free area.
• Partition Size: Number of partitions.
• Formatting the PC Card/USB Memory
The PC card or USB memory is formatted to FAT format.
• Number of Partitions.
You can set partitions on the PC card. However, PC cards that are handled as
removable disks cannot be partitioned. You can select 1 or 2 for the number of
partitions.
Note
• Note that if you format a storage medium that has data stored on it, all of the stored data are
cleared.
• It takes a few seconds to format a PC card.

The explanation is the same as that given in “Selecting the Storage Medium and
Directory” in section 9.3.
