Testing the Keys
5. Press the Test Exec soft key.
6. Press a key on the front panel. The test for the pressed key is executed.
7. Press the
or cursor key. The indicator lights one by one each time an
arrow key is pressed.
8. Press ESC twice to exit from the key test.
Testing the Keyboard
9. Press the Soft Key soft key. A keyboard appears.
10. Operate the keyboard. Check that the characters entered on the keyboard are
correctly displayed in the entry box of the keyboard.

Explanation
Memory Test
Tests whether the internal ROM and RAM are operating correctly. If “Pass” is
displayed, it is operating correctly. If “Failed” is displayed, contact your nearest
YOKOGAWA dealer.
System: Tests the RAM in the CPU.
ACQ RAM: Tests the RAM that stores the waveform sampling data (acquisition
data).
Testing the Keys and Keyboard
Tests whether the front panel keys are operating properly. If the name of the key
being pressed appears on the screen, it is operating correctly.
If the indicator turns ON/OFF when the
or cursor is pressed, the keys are
operating correctly.
To exit from the key test, press ESC twice.
If the display is not correct, contact your nearest YOKOGAWA dealer.
