Image Capture Illumination
Parameter # 361 (SSI # F0h 69h)
Selecting Enable Image Capture Illumination causes illumination to turn on during every image capture. Disable
illumination to prevent the digital scanner from using illumination.
Enabling illumination usually results in superior images. The effectiveness of illumination decreases as the
distance to the target increases.
Image Capture Autoexposure
Parameter # 360 (SSI # F0h 68h)
Select Enable Image Capture Autoexposure to allow the digital scanner to control gain settings and exposure
(integration) time to best capture an image for the selected operation mode.
Select Disable Image Capture Autoexposure to manually adjust the gain and exposure time (see the following
pages). This option is only recommended for advanced users with difficult image capture situations.
