To attach the lanyard:
1. Open the battery door latch as described in Replacing the Linear Imager Scanner Battery on page 1-11.
Do not remove the battery.
2. Hook the loop of the lanyard around the screw container inside the battery door latch, between the loop
guides.

3. Close the battery door latch.
4. Tighten the screw.
