Blower
The blower continuously circulates the argon over the printbed to extract all fumes and carry them to the lter
Filter
All fumes and debris extracted from the process chamber are ltered out by the lter before the argon atmosphere is
reintroduced into the process chamber.
Vacuum Pump
Before starting a printjob, the atmosphere inside the chamber needs to be oxygen free. The vacuum pump removes all air from
the process chamber creating a vacuum in the process chamber. This allows the process chamber to be lled with argon gas to
create inert atmosphere with oxygen levels lower than 100 parts per million (ppm).
RESET EMERGENCY STOP
Returns the system to normal operation after the E-Stop key has been pressed and disengaged again.
PC ON
The PC On Switch is used to switch the machine PC ON and OFF.
MAIN SWITCH 24VDC
The power switch for all parts that run on 24V DC.
SAFETY OVERRIDE SWITCH
When this switch is turned on with the key the laser can be turned on even when the pressure or oxygen levels are not at the
required level. Note: the laser will still be turned off by opening the door. This should only be used by 3D Systems certied
maintenance personnel to calibrate the laser system.
