In the example below, where (In1, Out1) = (20.0, 10.0), the function extends the
characteristic with a horizontal line. If In10 < 100.0, the characteristic would also
be extended with a horizontal line.

Note: Only part of the graph is shown in the example above.
It is even possible to have step changes in the breaking points. The output Val ue
in the breaking point is defined by the coordinate with the ordinal number. In the
example below Va lu e = 10.0 for Signal = 20.0.
