Menu Abbreviations
To simplify the instructions in this manual an “x” is used to represent any of the
blocks of each type available in each controller. For example, FAx represents any
of the numbered Arithmetic Function Blocks.
The specific number of blocks in each type of controller is given in a table in the
left hand margin next to the block being described.
Some types of function blocks are available in a limited number. An example is
the delay block in the ECA600, where only two instances are available. If you try
to configure a third Delay block, a message is displayed on the third row of the
display.
The message must be acknowledged by pressing the OK key.
