493-0736-11 (6-2) 287
Analog and digital signal values can be written to the controller. The signals
must be connected via communications buffers of type AIC (Analog Input
Communication) and DIC (Digital Input Communication).
All status bits, such as Alarm, Tuning phase, Auto/Manual mode, etc., can be
read by a supervisory system.
All register values, such as PV, SP, ISP, ESP, Control Signals and PID
parameters can be read by a supervisory system.
ISP and the Control signals can be set in manual mode.
New PID parameters can be written to the controller.
The controller can be switched to Manual or Auto-Mode using the parameter
ManualEnable in the Control block (the switch must be connected via a DIC
block).
The Control signal can be increased or decreased (in manual mode) by use of
a bit operation.
Tuning can be started/stopped individually for each loop.
An alarm can be acknowledged from a supervisory system.
Note. Switching between Computer and Local mode is not possible. This must be
performed from the front panel.
