A.5 Communication Area Mapping Appendix A: Communication
296 493-0736-11 (6-2)
Procedure:
1. Convert the value in milliseconds into hexadecimal format:
(2 600
10
= 0000 0A28
16
)
2. Split the hexadecimal value into two 16-bit words:
(0000
16
and 0A28
16
)
3. Write the MSW (most significant word) to the first register of TD2... (Write
0000
16
, or 0
10
to R136)
4. ... and write the LSW (Least Significant Word) to the second register of TD2
(Write 0A28
16
, or 2 600
10
to R137)
Gain scheduling
When the Gain Scheduling is Off, the parameter sets K2/TI2/TD2 and
K3/TI3/TD3 are mirrors of the K1/TI1/TD1 set. This means that data written to a
parameter in one set will be copied automatically to the other sets. The same
applies to reading. The controller makes sure that the three sets are identical when
reading and writing.
EMA60
EMA60 has no control function, and therefore no PID-parameter sets. Reading
from registers R96–113 and 128–145 hence yields non-sense information. Also,
writing to these registers has no impact on the function of this unit.
