Proceed as follows to check the residual current circuit breaker:
Step Procedure

Open the control cabinet.

Press the Test button
(1)
on the residual current circuit breaker
-F30 to start the self-test (in diagram: 4-pole residual current
circuit breaker for normal grid).

Result of function test:
If ... , then ...
the residual current
circuit breaker trips
the residual current circuit breaker
is working as intended.
the residual current
circuit breaker does
not trip
shut down the sampling system,
secure against start-up, and have it
repaired by trained, expert person-
nel.

Perform steps 1 through 3 with residual current circuit breaker
for UPS -F40 (if present).

Switch residual current circuit breaker -F30/-F40 back on.
6
Lock the control cabinet.
