Probe cleaning unit
Controls cleaning functions on
the sample gas probe.
The probe is automatically retracted if the following malfunctions occur:
 Cooling water temperature too high
 Cooling water flow rate too low
 Cooling water pressure too low
 Circulation pump failure
 Power supply interrupted
 Compressed air failure
To protect the process against ambient air from being drawn in and to pro-
tect operators, the duct opening is closed by a shutter when the probe is
retracted. This does not apply, however, to regular retraction/extension for
cleaning the outside of the probe.
The shutter is moved either automatically by a pneumatic drive or manually.
The pneumatic/electric supply is connected at a central transition point. All
required line connections are pre-installed in the probe retractor.
