3 System overview
3.1 Scope of delivery
The fabian Therapy evolution product includes the following items:
• One fabian Therapy evolution Ventilator
• Two single limb connecting tube
• One Power Cable (country specific)
• One Instruction for Use (country specific)
3.2 Contraindications
Severe airflow obstruction, and intracranial hypertension, would contraindicate the use of the fabian
Therapy evolution neonatal and infant ventilator.
Fabian Therapy evolution products should not be used in association with HF electrosurgical
equipment.
In the event of ventilation for several hours or more, care must be taken for optimal conditioning of
the respiratory gases (warmth, humidification) to optimize secretion mobilization and prevent damage
to mucous membranes.
