Troubleshooting & Service
CAUTION 1% sodium hypochlorite is corrosive. Use care not to
overfill the cleaning station. Allowing sodium hypochlo-
rite to overflow the cleaning station and enter the area
below the plastic work surface can result in corrosion of
the electromechanical components.
• Fill the cleaning station with the 1% sodium hypochlorite solution.
• Slowly withdraw the plunger on the plastic syringe until the tubing
to the waste bottle cap is completely filled with the sodium
hypochlorite solution.
Note: It may be necessary to refill the cleaning station with the
sodium hypochlorite solution to completely fill the tub-
ing and eliminate all air bubbles.
• Once the sodium hypochlorite solution has filled the tubing, refill
the cleaning station as much as possible without causing the solu-
tion to overflow the top edge.
• Allow the solution to remain in the tubing and cleaning station for
30 minutes.
