Freezing chamber (Figure 10)
The freezing chamber contains a solid-state thermoelectric (Peltier)
cooler to super-cool the sample.
Color touchscreen display panel (Figure 3)
The color touchscreen displays:
• Test status and results.
• Status messages when the instrument is turned on or when functions
are selected.
• Pertinent error messages.
The touchscreen may be operated with gloved or ungloved hands, or
with a stylus. Do not use writing pens, pencils, or any sharp object as
this can damage the touchscreen.
Syringe pump (Figure 3)
The syringe pump controls the movement of fluid through the pipettor
system during sample testing and pipettor cleaning.
