Revisions History Tab: Provides informa-
tion for software revision, firmware revision,
scanner firmware revision, printer firmware
revision, MAC address, IP address, and serial
number:

history of total tests, sample probe resistance,
sample probe lot number, block probe resist-
ance, temperature and humidity.
Legend Information
Press the Legend Icon to display the legend
information on the Main screen:
Turntable tubes are color-coded based on the
status of each position. LIS is color-coded
based on the status of the LIS connection and
pending messages.
Calibration
The OsmoPRO was factory calibrated and
the calibration data is stored within its mem-
ory. Calibration requires no adjustment of
the instrument by the user.
NOTE: Calibrate the OsmoPRO with
Advanced Instruments Calibration
Standards only. Use of any other cali-
bration standards not manufactured
by Advanced Instruments may yield
inaccurate results and is NOT REC-
OMMENDED:
NOTE: Read and follow the calibra-
tion instructions carefully. Testing
Calibration Standards out of order
will result in a calibration failure.
Performing a Calibration Test
1. Go to the Main Menu screen and
press MENU.
2. Select CALIBRATION to open the
Calibration screen:
3. Remove and empty the turntable.
4. Install a new wiper ring on the
turntable.
5. Load three sample tubes of each
Calibration Standard:.
• 2000 mOsm/kg H
2
O - Positions 1-3
• 850 mOsm/kg H
2
O - Positions 4-6
• 50 mOsm/kg H
2
O - Positions 7-9
6. Install the turntable with the evapora-
tion cover on the instrument.
7. Press START to begin the calibra-
tion or press EXIT to return to the
Main screen.
