Printer
The user can test the functionality of the
printer from the Printer Test screen:
Conducting a Printer Test
1. Go to the Diagnostics screen and
press PRINTER to open the Printer
Test screen.
2. Press TEST to send text to the print
er.
3. If the printer is functioning properly,
the status will be displayed as
READY.
4. Press EXIT to return to the
Diagnostics screen.
LCD
The user can perform various tests to trou-
bleshoot the instrument’s LCD display from
the LCD screen.
Brightness Test
Use the brightness slider to test the LCD dis-
play backlight and the LCD backlight adjusts.
Pixel Test
Perform a Pixel Test to identify dead and/or
defective pixels on the LCD display:
1. Go to the Diagnostics screen and
press LCD to open the LCD screen.
2. Select PIXEL TEST to open a solid
color screen.
3. Press down on the screen to advance
to the next test pattern and identify
pixel issues.
If a Black pixel appears on the color screen,
this is indicative of a dead pixel. Also, if a
pixel does not match the color of the test pat-
tern, this is verification of an issue with the
LCD display. If there is any issue with the
LCD Display, please contact Advanced
Instrument’s Technical Services Department
for assistance.
Solenoid
The user can test the functionality of the
instrument’s Solenoid by pressing IMPACT
on the Solenoid Test screen:
