(1) Connect the test equipment as shown in Fig. A-24.
(2) Set the UUT as follows:
[UTIL] [Mod'n Mode] [GMSK]
[UTIL] [Freq Std] [Int 13 MHz]
(3) Ensure that the frequency measured on the counter is 13 MHz +3 Hz.

(1) Set the UUT as follows:
[UTIL] [Mod'n Mode] [GMSK]
[UTIL] [Freq Std] [Ext 13 MHz]
(2) Ensure that UUT displays No 13 MHz Standard or VCXO Out of Lock.
(3) Connect the test equipment as shown in Fig. A-25.
(4) Set the signal generator as follows:
Carrier freq 13 MHz
RF level 13 dBm
(5) Ensure that the external standard error is removed.
