ACCEPTANCE TESTING
Introduction
The test procedures in this section enable you to verify that the electrical performance of
the signal generator complies with the performance data given earlier. All tests may be
performed with the instrument covers in place and should be carried out in the order given. For
convenience the test equipment and specification for each test are summarized before the test
procedure. These tests are in addition to those specified in Chapter 5 of the manual.
Before starting each test, use the [MEM] function to recall memory number 50. This will
restore the instrument to factory default settings, and ensure that the following tests are carried
out with the correct settings.
Test equipment
The test equipment recommended for acceptance testing is shown in Table D-1.
Alternative equipment may be used providing it complies with the stated minimum performance.
