Context config>system>sync-if-timing
Description This command enables the context to configure parameters for the first timing reference. The source
ports for ref1 and ref2 must be on different slots. Note that for the 7750 SR-a4, 7750 SR-c4, and
7750 SR-c12, the source ports for ref1 and ref2 may be on the same slot.
The ref1 and ref2 cannot be configured on the same MDA/CMA for the 7750 SR-a, 7750 SR-c12, or
7750 SR-c4. On a 7950 XRS-40 system, the source ports for ref1 and ref2 must reside on the master
chassis.
The restrictions on the location for the source-port or source-bits for ref1 and ref2 are listed in
Table 42.
