Error Code Alarm Level Description
Output buffer overflow.
Packet dropped.
CRITICAL Transport stream output buffer towards backplane is
overflowing. Packages are dropped.
This is can happen if the destination card is overloaded. In this
case the output card will send flow control messages to the
backplane switch telling it is not able to receive more packets,
the switch then tells the input card not to transmit packets to
the backplane. Hence if destination card is overloaded this
alarm will be triggered.
System Reference clock
failure
CRITICAL The system clock signal from the switch card is not detected
by the FPGA. The switch card may be broken.
System Clock
Unsynchronized
CRITICAL The card has detected a situation where the internal clock
needed to re-synch to the reference clock.
