Link down CRITICAL No link with network equipment
No bitrate CRITICAL Ni bit-rate detected on multicast/unicast address on the
indicated input interface.
Half duplex link CRITICAL Only half duplex link has been negotiated with network
equipment. Please change configuration on network equipment
to full duplex and reboot input card.
IP dejitter buffer >
75%
MINOR Jitter on incoming data is high. Possible problem with the pcr
on the input stream.

95%
CRITICAL Jitter on incoming data is close to exceeding buffer. Possible
problem with the pcr on the input stream.
Input buffer overflow.
Packet dropped.
CRITICAL Transport stream input buffer is overflowing. Packages are
dropped.

Output buffer overflow.
Packet dropped.
CRITICAL Transport stream output buffer towards backplane is
overflowing. Packages are dropped.

Receive frame error CRITICAL A low level protocol error was detected in the incoming
Ethernet packet.
No Signal CRITICAL This indicates that no data is received to the input module at
all. It is triggered only if one or more inputs are configured.
System Reference clock
failure
CRITICAL The system clock signal from the switch card is not detected
by the FPGA. The switch card may be broken.
System Clock
Unsynchronized
CRITICAL The card has detected a situation where the internal clock
needed to re-synch to the reference clock.
Card Overheated CRITICAL The card temperature is too high. Check the unit and make
sure the ventilation vents are positioned correctly.
Card Temperature High WARNING A warring that the card is on the limit of being too warm.
Multiple Input Sources,
input temporarily
disabled
CRITICAL The same multicast stream arrives to the unit from different
sources. The input will automatically be disabled until one
source is detected only.
Frame length error CRITICAL An incoming IP packet had an illegal length field
IP fragmentation
detected - format not

CRITICAL Fragmented packets are not supported.
TS packet sync byte
error
CRITICAL Sync byte error not detected or located at an unexpected
location.
Invalid PCR warning Unexpected PCR interval detected. Multiple of these may result
in regulation overflow.
Regulation overflow CRITICAL The de-jitter algorithm was unable to recover the input signal.
To recover the input buffers are flushed.
System clock

specification
warning The PCR of the outgoing stream ends up with a PCR outside
the specification. This could be caused by too much input jitter,
or that the internal algorithm fails due to missing packets on
the input.

Error Code Alarm Level Description
No bitrate
CRITICAL No bit rate detected on the specified channel into the output
card. The output port affected will appear in the alarm text.
Input buffer overflow,
packet dropped.
CRITICAL The card bit rate exceeds the max capacity of the card.
ASIOUT output buffer

CRITICAL This may be because the total bit rate of the MPTS
components exceeds the maximum rate configured for the
port.
