DIAGNOSIS INSTRUMENT: LOGIC ERRORS

Inertial sensor platform (sensor box)
Function:
To transmit information about the motorcycle dy-
namics to the Marelli control unit (e.g.: yaw rate).
Electrical circuit diagram - Level in wiring dia-
gram:
Traction control.
Location on the vehicle:
Fastened to the fuel tank, under the seat.
Connector location (if available):

Pin-out:

Pin 1: ground lead (black)
•
Pin 2: CAN "L" Line (purple/black)
•
Pin 3: CAN "H" Line (orange/black)

Pin 4: supply (brown)

Sensor box error (inertia sensor platform) P0710

Faulty sensor/Signal not valid
Troubleshooting:
With faulty sensor, the component inside the control unit is damaged and replacement of the control
unit is recommended. With signal not valid, the sensor has generated a signal out of range that is still
sent to the injection control unit together with the relevant error.
