Position the dial gauge at a right angle to the valve
head face and measure the eccentricity.
If the eccentricity exceeds the specified limit, re-
place the valve.

Coating may get slightly damaged in the indicated
area.
Valve installation
•
Lubricate the valve stem and insert the
valves on the valve guide.
•
Position the springs with the closest
turns facing the head of the valve
CAUTION
THE INTAKE VALVES HAVE A DOUBLE SPRING WHERE-
AS THE EXHAUST VALVES HAVE A SINGLE SPRING.
