Use a plain slot screwdriver to remove
the oil seal (5).
CAUTION
PLACE A STRIP OF RUBBER ON THE EDGE OF THE
SLEEVE TO PROTECT IT FROM DAMAGE WHEN REMOV-
ING THE OIL SEAL (5).
Replace the following components with new ones:
- oil seal (5)
- dust gaiter (3)
CAUTION
BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL IN ORDER THAT NO FOREIGN BODIES GET INTO THE SLEEVE OR
THE WHEEL HOLDER STEM. NEVER REUSE OIL

Use the Öhlins tool to unscrew the
pumping member pin fixing ring nut.
•
Remove the pumping member pin unit.
•
Remove the spring guide snap ring (1)
•
Remove the spring guide support ring
