4.6 Setting the LCD Backlight Timeout
You can set the duration, in seconds, for which the phone’s backlight is lit when the phone is not
being used (idle). After the duration expires, the backlight turns off. You can opt to have the
backlight on all the time by selecting the Always on option.
To set the LCD’s backlight timeout:
1. Access the Backlight Timeout screen (MENU key > Settings > Backlight Timeout).
2. Navigate to Always on or 10 seconds (default) 20 seconds, 30 seconds, 40 seconds, 50
seconds or 60 seconds).
3. Press the Select softkey.
4. Press the Save softkey to apply your setting.
