Retrieving a voice message
About this task
Use this procedure to listen to your voicemail messages. The Message button and the Message
Wait Indicator at the upper right corner of the phone lights to indicate that you have a voice
message.
Before you begin
• Ensure that the system administrator configures the voicemail for your extension.
• Obtain the user ID and password of your voicemail from your system administrator.
Procedure
1. To log in to your voicemail, press the Message button.
2. Follow the voice prompts to playback your voice messages.
Browser
Your phone includes WML Web browser capability to use additional applications such as LDAP.
The applications available through the browser vary depending on how your system administrator
has configured your phone.
Gain access to the browser through Main Menu. If you do not see the Browser option on Main
Menu, Web applications must be available for your phone.
Note:
The 9601 phone does not support displaying images through the browser.
Using the WML browser
Procedure
1. Press Main MenuAvaya Menu.
2. Scroll to Browser.
3. Press Select or OK.
The WML browser opens the home page.
4. Scroll to the link that you want to view.
5. Press OK to open the link.
