Field Name Description
• Select ISDN to call ISDN endpoints. This requires an ISDN
gateway such as Avaya Equinox Gatewayfor ISDN (see
Deployment Guide for Avaya Scopia
®
XT Series).
Call Type Select whether the call is Audio-Video or Audio-Only.
Rate or Call Rate Select the bandwidth to be used when calling a remote
endpoint. Otherwise, the system uses the maximum available
bandwidth.
Your call is securely encrypted when it shows a padlock icon on the monitor. Ask your1
system administrator to configure encryption (see Deployment Guide for Avaya Scopia
®

XT Series).3

Using encryption is subject to local regulation. In some countries it is restricted or4
limited for usage. For more information, consult your local reseller.5

To end a meeting, select Disconnect from the web interface, or press Disconnect on6
the XT Remote Control Unit.7
If your system administrator defined a time limit for embedded videoconferences, the8
system displays a message when the limit is reached.9

If the XT Series is participating in an Equinox Conferencing meeting where information12
about the meeting and the participants are available, the XT Series displays an alert when13
this meeting is going to terminate. You can decide to ignore the termination warning and14
have the meeting terminate in 5 minutes or you can snooze the duration for half an hour.15
