Device protection Use semiconductor fuses with the tripping characteristic aR (DIN VDE 0636-201 / IEC
60269-2-1 / HD 630.2.1 54). Connect these in series with the cable protection fuses. In
the event of a short circuit, these protect the line-side rectifier unit circuit on the input side
against complete destruction, in order that it is possible to repair the device.
