9.2 Making use of the height compensation tool
When a buttonhole is to be sewn at right angles to the project edge, it is recommend to use the height
compensation plates (optional accessory).
> Place the plates from the back between the sewing project and the bottom of the slide to the thick part
of the sewing project.
> Lower the presser foot.
9.3 Using the compensation plate
When sewing a buttonhole in difficult materials, it is recommended to use the Height Compensation Plate
(optional accessory). It can be used in combination with the Buttonhole foot with slide
#3A.
