18 15V DC Input Power Supply Card
The CPU requires a 5VDC & 12VDC power source to power up while the rest of the Cards,
such as Reader Board and I/O Card, requires a 15VDC power source. This 15V DC Input
Power Supply card takes in a 15VDC input from an external power supply source and provide
both the require DC power supply for all the other Cards, it is only available on the Main Con-
troller Unit, which house the CPU, Secure/Communication, Reader Board and/or I/O Cards.
The Access Easy Extension unit utilized another simplified Power Supply Card, which we will
describe in the last section of this chapter.
This module is not to be use with UL Listed System.
18.1 15V DC Input Power Supply Card for Main Controller Unit
The following layout drawing shows the physical connectors on the 15V DC Input Power Sup-
ply Card. In addition, a brief description is provided on some of the major connectors.

This card is only available for CE Listed System, UL Listed version of Access Easy Controller
will utilize the 18V AC Input Power Supply Card instead.
