19 Convertor Card
The main function of the Convertor Card is to provide cascading ability to the system, by using
RS485 communication technology, hence, allowing the Access Easy Extension unit to be
mounted separately away from the Main Controller Unit.
With the use of RS485 communication, the Access Easy Extension unit can be mounted as far
as 1Km away from the Main Controller and multiple Access Easy Extension units could be
linked via this RS485 communication link by daisy chain as shown in the diagram below.

Maximum distance between Main Controller unit to the furthers Access Easy Extension unit
in the daisy chain loop is 1km.
