18.2.1 Technical Overview of 15VDC Input Power Supply Card
There are only 2 sets of termination blocks on the 15V DC Power Supply Card, the following
provides a brief description of the uses for each of them :-
Reference AC Input T1-1 & T1-2)
The 15V AC Input Power Supply Card is designed for use in other part of the world that does
not requires UL Listing, it accepts 15VDC direct on terminal block T1. This card will supplies
the 15VDC required by the Reader Board, I/O and Convertor Card.
Reference Main Power Fail Output
T2-6 & T2-5
This output allows you to indicate the power source status. When there is a power failure from
the 15VDC input source, it will trigger the Main Power Fail Output from normally close contact
to open. To utilize this feature, you connect this output to the Convertor Card's Mains Power
Fail input, as shown in the following page.

NOTICE!
This card ONLY accept 15VDC. Do not connect 110VAC or 230VAC to this terminal.
