15.3 Technical Overview of 8-Input/Output Board
Two 8-pin connectors across the top of the 8-Input/Output board provide termination points
for wiring from door contacts and other alarm sensors. The terminal strips are identified as
T6 and T7 on the 8-Input/Output board.
There are two terminals each for input point. Each input is supervised and should be termi-
nated with 6.8K end-on-line resistors. All unused should have the termination resistor
installed across the terminals within the controller. Refer to the Chapter entitled "How to
Install Readers and Field Devices" for detailed wiring diagrams.
The charts that follow identify the various termination points on the terminal strips.
