17.1.1 Technical Overview of 18VAC Input Power Supply Card
There are 3 sets of termination blocks on the 18V AC Input Power Supply Card, the following
provides a brief description of the uses for each of them :-
Reference AC Input: T1-1 & T1-2
The 18V AC Input Power Supply Card is designed for use in UL Listed System only, it accepts
18VAC direct on terminal block T1. This card will convert the AC input into 12VDC and 5VDC
output.
Reference Main Power Fail Output:
T2-6 & T2-5
This output allows you to indicate the power source status. When there is a power failure from
the 18VAC, it will trigger the Main Power Fail Output from normally close contact to open. To
utilize this feature, you connect this output to the Secure/Communication Card's Mains Power
Fail input, as shown in the following page.

NOTICE!
This card ONLY accept 18VAC. Do not connect 110VAC or 230VAC to this terminal.
To satisfy UL requirements, the Basler Electric P/N 153600AA0001 transformer has been
tested with the UL Certification of the Access Easy Controller II. We recommend that this
transformer is to be used, to provide power to the 18VAC Input Power Supply Card.
