29.1 Preparing the WAVECOM GSM Modem for AEC
1. Insert the SIM Chip into the GSM Modem.
2. Power up the GMS modem
3. Connect the PC serial port and the Modem using the serial cable that comes with the
Modem.
4. Please run the HyperTerminal program from the Windows.(Goes to Program -> Accesso-
ries -> Communication -> HyperTerminal.
5. You will be prompted to enter the name of the connection, please enter any name.
6. Select the comport that the GSM Modem is connected to.
