3. Using the ratchet extension, slacken the four
hexagon bolts and remove the lubricating oil supply
and plate from the EPS 708.

4. Slacken the two screws in the plate and detach the
lubricating oil supply from the plate.
5. Disconnect the hoses from the lubricating oil supply
and mop up residues of lubricating oil with a cloth.

6. Prepare a container for catching lubricating oil.
7. Using an Allen key, undo the drain plug
(Fig. 131, item 1) and allow lubricating oil to drain
into the container.
6.32.2 Installing the lubricating oil supply
! Do not operate the oil metering unit without
lubricating oil.
1. Fit the lubricating oil supply to the plate with two
screws and shims (see Fig. 130 )
2. Fit the hoses to the lubricating oil supply
(see Fig. 130).
3. Using the ratchet extension, install the lubricating oil
supply in the EPS 708 with four hexagon bolts and
shims (see Fig. 129).

4. Remove the cap (item1) of the oil filler neck.
5. Pour in new lubricating oil (commercially available
engine oil, e.g. SAE 20) up to the upper oil level
indicator (approx. 7 liters).
i If using a funnel, lift the funnel when filling so that
air can escape from the lubricating oil tank.
6. Close the oil filler neck with the cap.
