3.4.7.2 Manual Calibration of Multiple Print Heads
When using more than one print head for the print job, a calibration step for setting the XY-offsets
between the different print heads needs to be performed. This can be done either manually or
automatically, but use the chosen method for all print heads. In addition, the zero position for the Z-
axis needs to be calibrated for each print head before starting the print job, see section 3.4.7.1.
In the manual calibration of the XY-offsets between various print heads, move the needle of the first
print head to the calibration slot at the rim of the light gate with the MANUAL XY CALIBRATION button.
5. Manual XY calibration – Click to move the needle into the manual calibration slot.
6. Progress indicator – Shows that the movement towards the manual calibration point has
started.
7. Fine-tune the position of the needle with the XYZ steps if needed to line up and dip the needle
inside the calibration slot.
8. Set XY offsets – Once the needle tip is lined up within the slot, click the SET XY OFFSETS
button to save the position.
